New Thailand tourism music video features PM Prayut

The Thai Khu Fah Facebook page that’s run by the federal government to encourage tourism has launched a new music video starring PM Prayut Chan-o-cha. The video features photos of the prime minister and the group of presidency officers that accompanied him on a latest journey to Nopparat Beach in Krabi.
The photos and video of the prime minister on the seaside are accompanied by music from Nantida Kaewbuasai, a well-known Thai singer who is now serving as President of Samut Prakan Provincial Administrative Organisation. The song, “Sand and Sea”, was recorded in 1998.
The music video was hastily cobbled collectively overnight by the staff of the federal government spokesperson and given a final evaluation by PM Prayut himself before being revealed at yesterday’s cupboard meeting.
The prime minister had commented that he loved assembly locals in Krabi throughout his seaside go to – his second journey to the seashore after travelling to Phuket in July and transferring across the island because the Sandbox programme launched to first check allowing worldwide travellers to return. While they last expressed optimistic sentiment as he left Krabi to return to Bangkok and was mentioned to be pleased with the music video that commemorated his visit.
While showcasing the country’s lovely seashores is a staple of Thailand tourism promotional material, the prime minister may be somewhat of an odd choice of who to point out enjoying the seaside. But PM Prayut reassured that the aim of the video was to spice up tourism and to not promote himself, as some have instructed, perhaps forward of next year’s elections.
Login required on-line to the music video have ranged from comments stuffed with reward and compliments for the video and its star to condemnation of the quality of the manufacturing and chiding the concept of the video as trying silly..
