Sudan invites tenders for consultants for photo voltaic PV irrigation project

The authorities of Sudan has launched tender seeking consultants to help in the implementation of an irrigation challenge in the states of North Kordofan and West Kordofan.
The challenge includes installation of 1,a hundred and seventy solar irrigation pumps in the country. Successful consultants will provide engineering and supervision companies, design of solar water pumping techniques, according to the requirements of every farm.
The corporations will also provide assistance to the irrigation challenge implementation unit, supervision and contract administration of works associated to the installation and commissioning of the solar pumps. The firms may also assist the venture implementation unit through technical and financial supervision to make sure that all works are carried out in accordance with the contract specifications. The consultants will also participate in the building actions and in the implementation of the project’s environmental and social management plan.

Erratic rainfall
